Need some original ideas for great yoga gifts for your partner? Here are my recommendations as to what to get your your favourite yogi that I would be chuffed to bits with if I were to find them under the Christmas tree. 1. Yoga classes! Yes, selling "experiences" over "things" is very in, pretty environmentally friendly, and what could a yogi like more than more yoga?! This can be arranged in different ways:
2. A beautiful yoga book can make a lovely gift. There are an infinite number of yoga books to choose from. You could look for a book of poses for reference, one for inspiration or a book to understand the origins of yoga. You could also search based on the person you are looking for and their circumstances e.g. prenatal, mum and baby, kids, yoga for athletes, yoga for office workers etc for a more personalised, though not always as beautiful book. Don't forget, there's also meditation, breathing (pranayama), ayurveda, cookery, anatomy, different yoga masters, celebrities... so you won't be short on choice. 3. Yoga gear can complement your practice and it doesn't have to take up a lot of space.
4. Cute yoga-themed stuff

There is no pressure. If children are happy to participate they do. When they need a break, that's fine too. On a practical note:
Here are my 5 top tips for getting back to yoga during the baby and toddler years - unless you have "easy babies", which sleep a ton so you can get loads of stuff done ...congratulations btw, but in which case, you're probably not reading this!
If daily life revolves around clearing up one mess after another at the moment (thanks, my lovely babies), get out the house and come to Off to Yoga with my Toddler!! or New Mum is off to yoga. Weekly classes in East Oxford.
